Paleo Fish Pie.

I Absolutley love this recipe, I have always had a love of creamy sauces, but since going paleo, there are very few of my old favourites I can have. 

But this is perfect…. Paleo/Primal and of Course Gluten Free.

Ingredients
  • ½ Can Coconut Milk
  • Asparagus heads
  • 1x Onion Chopped
  • 1x Leek Chopped
  • 1x Cauliflower
  • 550g Fish Mix (fresh haddock, salmon and cod) ask at fish counter
  • 150g Ready cooked prawns
  • 100g coconut flour
  • 3 tbps almond flour
  • Coconut Oil.

Lets go…….

  1. Preheat oven 150 degress
  2. Put in asparagus, coconut milk onion and leek in a pan and cook for 10mins
  3. In the mean time boil the kettle chop up the cauliflower and boil for 15 mins
  4. Add fish, prawns, 1tbsp of almond flour and any spices you like to the coconut milk and veg cook for 15 mins
  5. Put the coconut flour in a bowl with the 2tbsp of almond flour and mix, the put in a tsp of coconut oil and with your fingers crumb the mixture together to make a crumble.
  6. Take the fish mix off the heat and pour into a shallow oven dish
  7. Drain the cauliflower and mash until it is a puree, add a little pepper and smooth over on top of the fish mix.
  8. Sprinkle over your coconut and almond flour crumble
  9. Heat in the oven for about 15 mins or until golden


Will keep in the fridge for about 5 days so cook it up for the week!
